Admission Requirements for First-Year Students
We accept both the and our for incoming first-year students only. No preference is given to either the 8kbet Application or the Common Application – we recommend students choose the most convenient application. 8kbet is test-optional, but test scores are encouraged for 8kbet course placement. Request to have your scores sent to 8kbet from or when you register for the test. Learn more about first-year admission requirements.
Merit-Based Scholarships
8kbet offers a variety of scholarship programs for both Nevada residents and non-residents. For scholarship consideration, our priority deadline is Nov. 15, 2022. Students must complete the FAFSA or Alternate Need Form, and be admitted to 8kbet by this date for priority consideration. There is no separate application for students to be considered.
