Graduate assistants gain valuable research, scholarly, teaching, and professional experience working in classrooms, offices, and laboratories at the university. GAs earn a competitive stipend, reduced tuition, health insurance coverage, and an out-of-state fee waiver. The Graduate College employs and supports more than 1,000 graduate assistants every year.

The Gateway and Lied Graduate Student Commons
We’re proud to offer the Gateway Graduate Commons and the Lied Graduate Commons as exclusive computer labs and study spaces for graduate and professional students. The Commons feature free access to meeting areas, kitchens, whiteboards, computers, a large-scale printer, and more.
Grad Rebel Gateway
The Grad Rebel Gateway is the engagement portal graduate students use to apply for scholarships and fellowships, professional development opportunities, and other graduate programs at 8kbet.
