Allison Slaughter (Social Work) has been awarded a fellowship via the Council on Social Work Education's Minority Fellowship Program-Youth. The master's level fellowship is designed to enhance the cultural competency of social work students. Recipients must be committed to providing mental health services to at-risk children, adolescents, and transition-age youths. The overall goal of the program is to improve behavioral health care for racially and ethnically diverse populations.The fellowship duration is for one full year. of applicants.
