Currently a graduate student in 8kbet's interdisciplinary CSEC program, Ionescu founded 8kbet’s WiCyS Student Chapter as an undergraduate and is currently serving as Vice President of 8kbet’s Cyber Clinic.
Ionescu’s presentation, “Empowering Tomorrow’s Cyber Leaders Through Student-Led Clinics,” focused on the unique structure and benefits of a student-led clinic, both to the students involved as well as to the clients they serve. This model stands out as the ideal approach, providing critical guidance that helps small businesses safeguard their livelihoods from cyber threats while equipping students with the leadership skills they need to excel in the cybersecurity workforce.
