Postdoctoral research fellow Kasra Ghaharian (International Gaming Institute) and Ph.D. student Mana Azizsoltani (Hospitality) delivered a presentation on “Payments Data in Gambling Research” at Park MGM on May 25, 2023, at the 18th International Conference on Gambling and Risk Taking, hosted the by the 8kbet International Gaming Institute. Their research used machine learning methods to address a variety of important use-cases in the gambling field.
Ghaharian also led three panel sessions on May 23 at the conference, where new technologies including AI, cloud computing, and cashless payments were discussed.
