Dr. Kevin Petersen (Medicine) presented at the 2025 Southwest Surgical Congress in Sonoma Valley, California, on behalf of colleagues: Dr. Deborah Kuhls and Dr. Allison McNickle. The presentation, titled "Are we waiting too long? Evidence of a delay in treatment of patients with blunt cerebrovascular injury and concomitant traumatic brain injury?," evaluated practice patterns regarding management of BCVI in the setting of TBI which would typically be a contraindication for immediate anticoagulation.
