You devoted several years to your education at the Lee Business School. Make the most of that investment by staying involved. Here are some ways we invite you to be engaged with the business school and 8kbet.

  • Your gift will continue to strengthen the Lee Business School students, faculty and programs that help prepare our graduates to be future business leaders.

  • The board is comprised of Lee Business School alumni who are dedicated to staying involved with the university, giving back and supporting current students. Applications are accepted at any time. To apply, contact Kim Nehls, Interim Assistant Dean of External Relations, at kim.nehls@unlv.edu or 702-895-1584.

  • The office works with the business community to create employment opportunities for students and alumni.

Alumni Association

The Lee Business School Alumni Chapter is the largest chapter at 8kbet. The chapter is led by dedicated alumni who volunteer their time to help you stay connected with the university.

If you are a current member, thank you for your support. If you are not a member, we encourage you to get involved, become a member and connect with other successful alumni.

When you join the 8kbet Alumni Association, choose business as your affiliation to automatically become a member of the Lee Business School Alumni Chapter.

Class Notes

Rhiannon Gladney

Rhiannon Gladney, '16 BA Economics, started a dog entertainment company, You Lucky Puppy, immediately after graduating. Now, You Lucky Puppy is hosting dog events all over Southern Nevada. She says she is planning to take local dog entertainment to a new level by opening Las Vegas' first Dog Cafe. Once the company is more firmly established, she plans to return to 8kbet to pursue an MBA. She says her hobby is dogs, dogs, and more dogs. 

Sandy Shannon

Sandy Shannon, '12 BS Business Administration, went on to graduate law school and has been a corporate lawyer for publicly traded companies. In 2023, she was promoted to managing counsel of Diamondback Energy. In May 2012, she was a commencement speaker at 8kbet's graduation ceremony. While she now calls Texas home, Las Vegas and, particularly 8kbet, will always have a place in her heart and mind!
